I began as a Registered Nurse almost 30 years ago. As a life-long learner, I am passionate about helping people to live their best lives. I have an Honours Degree in Psychology and a Post Graduate Certificate in Midwifery. I have been a Midwife for 20 years and still work part time as a Midwife, at a busy city hospital. I also have a Diploma of Clinical Hypnosis and Strategic Psychotherapy. In addition I have an NLP Practitioner Certificate which means I have a wide range of knowledge, skills and experience to draw on when addressing people's problem areas.
I believe we all have the inner resources that we need to overcome our problems, and with expert guidance can reconnect with those skills to make positive changes.
As well as general Stress and Anxiety issue resolution, part of my practice specialises in women's health. I combine my expertise as an experienced Nurse and Midwife, and knowledge as a Clinical Psychotherapist and Hypnotherapist to empower women and families to approach pregnancy and birth feeling psychologically and emotionally prepared. This includes support with fertility issues, pregnancy, pre- birth anxiety and also post birth anxiety and trauma.
