Danielle Aitken is the National President of the Australian Hypnotherapists’ Association and also runs a successful private practice in Kilcunda, Victoria. With over four decades of diverse experience in the health industry as a Registered Nurse, Midwife, IVF Care Coordinator, Counsellor, and Clinical Hypnotherapist, Danielle is passionate about using hypnotherapy to facilitate fast, effective change that enhances the physical and mental health outcomes of her clients. In addition to her clinical work, Danielle has served for over seven years as a tutor and assessor of Counselling and Clinical Hypnotherapy at the Academy of Hypnotic Science in Melbourne. She currently also provides clinical supervision for hypnotherapists and counsellors, drawing on her extensive experience to mentor and support other professionals in the field Her early studies in genetics laid the groundwork for her interest in epigenetic change, a focus that continues to shape her current postgraduate studies in the neuroscience of mental health. Danielle's commitment to evidence-informed practices ensures that her therapeutic approaches are both innovative and effective.
