WA One Day Workshop & AGM Saturday 28th February

Date:
Saturday 28th February 2009

9:30 am – 10:30 am:   AHA (WA Branch) AGM  - MEMBERS ONLY

WORKSHOP – OPEN TO ALL
10:30 am  – 11:00 am Tea Break  & Workshop Registration

11:00 am – 12:30 pm: QUIT SMOKING IN JUST ONE SESSION –

Bruni Brewin President AHA, ; J.P; Dip C.Hyp; Cert Counselling; Cert. EFT, Cert.EMDR; Cert TIR; FAHAS, MATMS, MACEP.

Many of our clients come to stop smoking.  Quit Smoking in just one session of 1 ½ hours. Whilst some would say there is a Marketing dilemma (earning capacity) by only taking one session to give up smoking, it actually works in reverse.  You become known as being very good.  And from every person that stops smoking, you generate more referrals from the initial person’s friends who get to hear about it (not to mention their doctors).  Bruni will go through her whole client session to show you how she does this.

LUNCH  BREAK  This is also the time & place for networking and where good friendships are formed or rekindled.

1:30 pm – 3:00 pm: HYPNOBIRTHING -A PAIN FREE WAY OF USING HYPNOSIS FOR CHILDBIRTH

Emma Stewart: Cert Hyp; Cert Hynobirthing; Cert Calmbirthing; Trained Doula; Cert Counselling & psychotherapy; CMAHA.

Hypnobirthing does not accept that there has to be pain during childbirth and  uses the techniques prior to experiencing  any pain. The concept of easier birthing is easily understood when you examine the "robot theory", What is experienced in the body is determined in the mind. Therefore, what the mind chooses to accept or perceive as being real, the robot body, accordingly responds to. So too in birthing, when the mind accepts the belief that without complication, birthing proceeds naturally, no pain exists, and no pain is experienced. Leanne has been teaching these techniques for the past eight years ,since they were introduced to Australia by the founder of the program,  Marie Mongan, a USA based hypnotherapist.
