Bogus Claims Made By The SA Branch of the Australian Psychologists Society

Bruni Brewin, President of the Australian Hypnotherapists’ Association, in response to the Sunday Article; Fears of hypnosis ‘open slather’, says the SA Branch of the Australian Psychologists Society is party to ‘scare mongering’ the public with false claims that deregulating hypnotherapy from their domain will lead to backyard hypnotists with ‘Mickey Mouse’ inferior training, preying on members of the public who may be gullible.” Shame on you Ms Dakin. Professional Indemnity Insurance for Therapists

Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance for AHA Hypnotherapists

As all practicing members of the AHA must carry insurance for professional indemnity and public liability, and as part of our continuing efforts to provide value to our members, the AHA Executive is delighted to announce that Insurance House has joined the enhanced Member Benefit Program.  

The AHA has negotiated a drop in premium costs with Insurance House for three years running, which has made insurance for AHA hypnotherapists the cheapest for the profession. 

All AHA members will receive a $25 discount on their Professional Indemnity Insurance as the AHA is a preferred association of Insurance House.

Good News for the 15% to 20% of Sufferers of Irritable Bowel Syndrome who can Now Find a Proven Method of Assistance that Helps

A large-scale UK study of 250 people suffering from acute long term Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) participated in 12 sessions of hypnotherapy that clearly demonstrated that hypnotherapy significantly reduced their symptoms and improved their quality of life.  There were also the additional benefits, for most participants, in that they experienced a noticeable reduction in feelings of anxiety and depression.  Read the full press release here...

Australian Hypnotherapist's Association and UK's General Hypnotherapy Standards Council form strategic Alliance

Australia is the home of one of the worlds oldest Hypnotherapy Associations. Founded in 1949, the Australian Hypnotherapists Association (AHA) led the way in setting standards and aligning professional hypnotherapists to work together for the betterment of the profession, becoming the first hypnotherapy association of Australia.
